Mr Mud in one of these racing Skelton in his Porsche. I'd love to watch that one (from a safe distance, and not in either car).

Batteries have changed the construction trade. The first battery powered tools were not able to perform well for extreme use. Now there is a battery tool to do most jobs with as much power as one could wish for. Thanks to engineering and technology improvements.

Yep, they have finally made it and this is the first generation.  Wait a few more years and they will be smaller, lighter and more powerful.  Working without a cord is an improvement.

He is wrong and that is ok.  I would pull 2 G's off the starting line and he would be in the rear view mirror the rest of the time.

I guess it would depend on whether you were racing a straight course or one that was curvy.

And never, never again use the pronoun "I," talking about yourself in the same sentence as the word "G." The mental image made me throw up a little.

corners, no problem.  I do know how to drive, most likely not at Ron's level but fairly well.  Unfortunately we will never know since I cannot afford a $200,000+ car.  I have found cornering is much the same between cars, motorcycles, bicycles and even kayaks.

No, but the Stanislaus was my first creek type paddle experience.  That was weird and not what I expected, so many rocks.

I miss my VW TDI Diesel wagon.
Not the fastest like a $200k Porsche, but DAMNNN the torque on that thing + Turbo + VW stiff suspension....Jenny used to keep he eyes closed when I drove 128 to Mendocino (120 and 108 grades were nothing). ALl that fun with a tiny 2.0 liter engine.

Electic, meh, not for the long haul like going to the Meadows or Mendocino.

Well when driving 128 to Mendocino there are a few sections with nice turns. The family would be asleep and I could then let it rip.

I’m sure driving the orange mud mobile is about the same.
