Thanks to everyone for helping make the weekend fun.

Friday we went to Deep Groove Wall and I tried to push Wit’s End with Jason while the gals climbed.
Rosie stepped up and led No Room for Squares 5.8* after she and Whitney took turns leading Perne in a Gyre
5.6. They both led Tuff Chix 5.7 and we finished the day on Class Clown 5.7* (everyone but the teacher led it).
We saw a couple condors while Whitney was leading.

Back in camp we were treated to a visit from Mr. Mud – great to see you dude!
Saturday we all headed up early and had a T-rrific day at Crud and Mud.
We welcomed some new folks into the fold this weekend - Andy, Tara, Lexi, Dean and Brodie
I paired up with Tricia for a spell. She got right on the sharp end and led Squeaky Clean Mud 5.6**. We hit Pay Dirt 5.7*** after that. She is such a pleasure to hang out and climb with.
climberdude and Kimber made the rounds - Kimber got in a bunch of new leads and said she had a blast.
Whitney stepped up her game and led Here’s Mud in Your Eye 5.8** and so did Rosie. I didn’t get to watch them but I was bubbling with praise for them. They also took turns leading It’s 4:20 Dude 5.5* and Whitney capped a fine day by leading Mud Diamond 5.7***. Wow!

One lead that I did get to watch and thoroughly enjoyed was F4 on Here’s Mud in Your Eye 5.8**. That was cool.

Kim-bear took a nap with Kat while beano got some time on the mud. When she woke up, Kim-bear wanted to lead

But beano wasn’t quite ready to let her
The Dawsons came out and were still having fun as we packed up to head back to camp.
Here’s young Alex Dawson leading Pay Dirt 5.7***

Saturday night we had a good circle around the free-range vegan fire rings with plenty of good food, drink and laughter.
For some strange reason the old geezers outlasted the young folks

Yesterday was a bit on the warm side (high of 89) and the crag wasn’t as shady as we’d hoped but everyone still had fun.
briham toughed out a sunny hang to get the first bolt in on a new route. Mr Mud would have been proud
