I went a long way on my Tuolumne ticklist on Tuesday, Thursday and over the weekend (Tuolumne County in my case). Trying to wrap things up before the snow flies in the high county I got 21 routes done that were new to me that I wanted to get documented and on the new routes list. Up to 5.10b.

Maybe more to do this coming weekend (document Climberdude's new stuff on Aretha Franklin Crag and nearby?). The weather's been fantastic (and the home cooking at my house - as always - has been the same).

Wow! I just updated my journal. My route count on Sonora Pass highway is at 998. I think I'll go over 1,000 this coming weekend (if I live that long; Crux may kill me for highjacking her thread).

I hereby beg that J.C., K.C., Munge, Briham, Whitney, and Climberdude come up on Saturday to go out to Mark's routes and help me get to 1,000. Pleeeaaase?! And bump up your own SPH route counts while you're at it. Crux, although you haven't been coming up to SPH as much as to the real Tuolumne, any interest in joining us on some uncrowded, wonderful climbs (5.6 to 5.10)?

Damn I've been doing this shit for a long time.

We are awaiting her update....Marmot dome is serious business...so damn polished.

After 1,000, does that mean you can climb elsewhere?
I was told of a valley of sorts south of Sonora. Supposedly it has a few routes there.
Mungie told me about it.

I may have to stay in Sj. Actually really thinking about Yosemite right now and had plans for SoYo.

Is there a per diem for going to SPH? ;)

We are awaiting her update....

Ah!  Nothing to report really.

We did top out on Dog and Lembert Domes but from going up the walk offs.  :)

We were hiking around to find the more scenic route to Dog and ended up hiking up between them without knowing it.

So glad we lugged the climbing gear.   ::)

But it never sucks to be amongst the granite.  So beautiful!

We also hike up Murphy Creek and found the crag at Polly dome with a bunch of single pitch and TR stuff for another time.

Marmot found it's way to the bottom of my list, thank you very much.

Dog dome...now I remember we bailed on that one...in 90.
We learned on puppy dome...

Go to cottage dome...Hardiish 10’s but you will be stoked to crank them.
Another area is alimony cracks on daff.
Fun area. Great circle is fun.

Yeah, best to start at 11am, once the barney's are up the route.

Then it's the 1st to muscle through. After that it's pretty easy and goes fast.
