the Diving was good. 1st dive was in Carmel. Max depth about 70ft dive length was about 55 minutes. There was a ton of kelp and we had to do some crawling to get over the top. Viz was about 20 feet. Lot's of cool fish including one very healthy ling and a nice fat Cabazone. A bit exciting at the end when I decided to go under a fairly large patch of kelp instead of crawling over it. I dropped down with about 250 lbs of air. Eirk B. got turned around so I chased him down then headed for shore at a sprint. I got to the far side of the kelp with a clean shot at shore with about 100lbs of air. Which underwater barely showed on the gauge. Perfect timing.
2nd dive in Monterey was uneventful. max depth was about 50 ft and we managed to get out there with the boats. Dive time was about 70 minutes. Shot a spiny rock fish and ate it for dinner. Mmmm nice. Hopefully the Landlord will fix the fridge so that I can shoot something big enough to freeze. The one cool part was that the seals were coming real close to check out the game bag.
