The weather is great!
After the last route we decided to get on the next one right away.
Three days later we started up a beautiful piece of clean, steep granite.
We completed one and a quarter pitches.
Looking up pitch 1 after the initial lead. It goes up through the tiered roofs to belay below the arch way above. 5.10b 36m 9 bolts and some small gear.
Looking down on Jon approaching the tiered roofs
Sherwin Grade sure looks flat from up here
We went back five days later and finished pitches 2 (34m 5.10b 6 bolts, gear) and 3 (34m 5.9 1 bolt, gear).
And then back again four days later to get pitches 4 (35m 5.7 1 bolt, gear) 5 (34m 5.10a 7 bolts) and 6 (25m 5.7 4 bolts) ending on top of that section of the wall. Excellent rock. I'll try for pictures in the future when we go up to put ring anchors at the top of 6.
