What happened to our stars?
« on: May 05, 2020, 03:44:29 PM »

That's right.
Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse.
What am I talking about?
Look at your screen name.
It seems there is mischief afoot.

There is simply No Room for Squares.

Supernovas?

Black Holes?

Squares are so so.
I don't really dig em.
Stars are better.
Their meaning is deep.
Cosmic.
Celestial.
Heavenly.

 I snore.
I was informed last night that my snoring varies in intensity. I asked for a description of that variance. The low end appears to be similar to a small frog. At the other end, the Jaws of Life being desperately employed to rescue a trapped motorist. I didn't know what to think of this, what kind of sounds do the Jaws of Life even make? A small frog, why a small one? Why not a distant frog?

I snore.

I snore. Therefore I am, I snore.

The sound of the Jaws of life?
Imagine a Meanderthal dislodging Godzilla's testicle and getting a limb pinned.
Followed by the sounds of thrashing and howling as he tries to wrench it free - with flesh, bones and choss grinding, cracking and scraping.

I just want my post counts back.

The counter is stuck.
Mine has been at 5164 for a while since I am actually at 5263(according to the (show posts section) - weird!

Another point of interest.
If you long for the old green screen Home page, google mud n crud and the link will take you to it.
When you click the Forum button it goes to the new blue screen format Home page.  :yikes:

It sounds like you both need to go in for a CPAP smear.

I may be seeing a different number on my posts section because of my admin status but not sure why that would be.
Needs investigation. Maybe clink can work on that for me in his copious spare time. It may have something to do with my mods on various threads (like the Rebolting Master List). Kat looked at it from her machine and it showed the same as the main forum.

I think the counter is weird too because it doesn't show a bump by one each time you post.

It just shows your total on every post - no matter what the age.

Maybe mine should have gotten stuck on 5150.

I bet you have a note book at home that has little hash marks for each post with dates.

I'm going to start using squares instead of stars to rate climbs.  The more squares the worse the climb.  Gonna be a whole buncha 3 square climbs.  That climb is totally square.

It’s a left wing plot!!

Or is it a right wing plot?

Time to bring back the poop thread.

 Perfect.
A lot of routes could be represented at pinnacles much better. Machete Direct, 3-stars, 2 squares.
