Ha! JC, figures you would filter it with the volcanic vomit as it’s high in potassium. You should filter that Santa Cruz water I think they get it from up past Felton.

I am lucky, I get to drink the stolen Yosemite water from hech hechy.

I agree we are lucky. My favorite water spigot is the one on the side of the road by the Tuolumne campground.  Good stuff.

My biggest water spigot disappointment was that one at roads end  in kings canyon that mounted on a rock.  It's like wow cool first time you see it.  The water is kinda flat that comes out of it.  Pinnacles water is kinda flat but not as bad as Red Rock campground.  That water is not very good.

That doesn't count as water though. They treat it, truck it in and store it in tanks. Yuck. I usually take a few gallons of my home water with me for red Rocks.

The water around Black Mountain/Longridge is good.  The guy at the chestnut farm told me his well water has won awards for best tasting in U.S.  (never knew there were water tasting events)

Found a spring once above horseshoe lake at skyline open space that has really good water.

Makes sense since it doesn't have livestock or other crap. The MidPen source was on the other side of horse lake. my guess is they don't want to test it, discourage folks like me. Or they got a bad test results. I'll have to check again this weekend.

I do have to admit my favorite water was from Tuolumne meadows. I used to bring home a 5 gallon jug of it.

Worse tasting was glacial melt water on the Grand Teton. Little did I know that would be it for the next 24hrs.

Water isn't for talking about.

It's for fighting over.

I think if you are drinking cheap beer pabst, miller lite, budweiser etc that is totally doable. I would  go a week or so just drinking cheap beer and forget to drink water.  If you are used to drinking a lot of that kind of beer you can drink 3 or so an hour and not really get drunk.  Drinking cheap beer is hard work.  All that pissing.  Water filtration of sorts.

She came home with Coors Lite.

It is the water! Not so bad.

Remember these are tough times and we have to adapt.

Irreconcilable contradiction in terms.
