I miss that kid whitemeat on supertopo.  He'd misspell all kinds of stuff and people left and right would get their panties in a wad.

Also miss updates from Todd Gordon on Tucker Tech and Weld_it.  He was good at misspelling too.

Then theres other stuff I dont miss......

"Whitemeat."

Yep, he made up with enthusiasm for his atrocious, grammar and terrible spelling. But then he kinda faded from the scene even before Supertopo folded.

I think Briham actually climbed with him a time or two.

Met him and his folks in the west side parking lot on 1-27-13.
Mark and Amy Sensenbach from Recycle Resoles in SLO (now defunct)
whitemeat was headed to Machete Direct that day.

got on the bike a bit this week.  Managed 58 miles and 11,400 footies for the week.   Todays ride 20 miles and 4,700 feet kind of kicked my butt.  Wanted to do one more trail but there just was not much left in the tank. Have been reducing calories and I think I have lost a couple of pound.  Lots of cooked veggies.

Get it together man!!!!
I can start calling you to motive you to train....

If needEd I can fly up and red point the route for you.

I’ve spent the last week training by digging for gold.
I can barely walk, can’t make a fist and can’t use a mouse.
I lost most of the skin on my fingers (rubber gloves just cook my fingers)
Perfect training for suffering.

But shit, I am home and can run the AC.

And wtf is it with Jertjro Tull? I mean seriously, an English guy with a flute!

My answer to Jethro Tull is James Cotton.

3 miles at above 10k Saturday. Too fuking hot to get up early today to hike, so I fogged the sled and in pulling the plugs realized there is quite a bit of carbon scoring. Its like it had seen some action. Probably still does the Kessel Run in 12 parsecs.

Watch The Ballad of Buster Scruggs on Netflix. Tom Waits portrays an old prospector in the 4th of 6 tales. His quest for Mr. Pocket is very entertaining and educational. It's a Coen Brothers production - one of the best movies I have watched in a long time.

And wtf is it with Jertjro Tull? I mean seriously, an English guy with a flute!

In defense of Jethro Tull - Ian Anderson is a Scottish badass (he'd likely be offended by being called English) and a virtuoso of unmatched quality in our lifetime (imo). He's been one of my all time favorites since I was a kid. He did a show at the Mountain Winery some years back "Orchestral Jethro Tull" that was kick ass  :blahblah: :guitar: :arf:

The Ballad of Buster Scruggs, looks like it could be good.  I do not have a Netflix account

We piggyback on a friend's account. If you have a friend that subscribes - they get 3 or 4 logins and can hook you up cheap or free.
It's really dark humor and the scenery/locations are fantastic.
The first tale is a little corny because he's a singing cowboy but it's still very entertaining and short.
I love good westerns and an old, dear friend of mine in KY recommended this one (he loves good westerns too).

So this afternoon I go out and check them mail and there is a small box.  Hmm, I did not order anything so I take it into the house and open.  There sits a Pink Pussycat Piggy Bank.  Care of mudworm.  So I guess the new rule is any day that I do not workout I have to put in a dollar.  Today I am not riding so I have been doing curls.

Wow, so your hair has gotten even longer? Will you use pink ribbons on those curls?

Please post a pic of you in rollers, having your morning coffee. A perm would be a lot less work.

The locals would have you hanged, eviscerated - then drawn and quartered.

I bet Mud is of Scottish descent - lots of gingers there.
Or maybe he is a Viking.   :arf:

Mr Mud is a Viking......hence why he needs a perm in the front.
