I use this version of the precipitation guage, so you can see what has happened when.

I think maybe a "Sticky" should have Pinnacles spelled correctly.

Nice catch.
I suggested to him make another Sticky with the title "Pinnicles, that's I in Pinnacles." But he talked about deleting this thread and migrating its content into a new correctly-spelled one. That's like cheating.

LOL! Might be a good day to do "Nipple Jam".
Right now where I live it is already 32.7 at 1958 hours. Should hit about 15 for us and I live just SW of Paso Robles.

14.5 was my low in Templeton this morning.
In Morro Bay, it was so cold that as the backwaters of the estuary receded with the tide going out it left a solid sheet of ice.
BTW, I free-soloed Nipple Jam(first pitch) when I was 9. Didn't know I could die if I fell.

My favorite weather link from the NPS weather station...
http://www.met.utah.edu/cgi-bin/roman/meso_base.cgi?stn=PCLC1
I also use wunderground.com and search the 95043 zip code. Scrolling down past the regular forecast, you'll find the temps and probability of precip specifically for Pinn. Very accurate.

This just went live last week- real time weather data from the NPS weather station:
http://weather.weatherbug.com/CA/Paicines-weather.html?zcode=z6169&stat=PCNNS
This weather station is similar to the
www.met.utah.edu
link mentioned previously. Both are located on the east side in the hills a bit west of the campground. The station feeding information to this new link is managed by the NPS, the other is managed cooperatively and primarily for wildland fire use.

The eastside campground link at the beginning of this post has been outdated for a while now. Here's the new link for reservations:
