I was at Tourist Trap and heard a guy telling his hiking group assertively, "Pinnacles received the National Park distinction because of these pinnacle like rock formations."

Now, that is conspiracy! We all know, it's a national park because it has its own forum, called mudncrud!
Inch by inch, I will get there.

There’s reason for the lists at the end of the guidebook.

Hint - check pages that are prime numbers. Look for the subtle clue in the picture of one. Also its not so much a treasure like gold but is a relic that probably would get stolen but for how obscure the location is and that’s why Brad denies the existence of the references to find the location. But ask Steve, you might get another hint!

The Monolith is a massive chockstone.  Hundreds of feet below it is a frozen underground pond that was used for ice skating in the 1800s.  Entrance is in the West Side caves.

Caves have been closed so park employees can have nude figure skating competitions.  Also East side vs West side hockey (clothing optional) games.

Noal you are on to something! It doesn’t wmexplain a lot.

How did the monolith get there?
Why did Mr Mud always go there?
Why was Mr Mud banned from the monument.

More thinking is needed.

Why was Mr Mud banned from the monument.

It was airlifted by an UFO from the High Peaks. They were taking it back to their galaxy to  practice sport climbing. Their tractor beam malfunctioned and it fell on top of the pond.

Mr. Mud refereed the hockey games.  He was thrown out after he wore pink undergarments to the playoffs.  The West Side Team was so distracted by this that they could not focus on playing and lost.

So, whenever you see a ranger on the westside look them straight in the eye and say "pink panties".

Jeezus Noal you are a crackpot!

I like it!

Annoying there is no swap to check out, might have to inspect the reservoir closer. So odd how there is s flat surface there. Must be an alternative entrance.

Gotta do more research this weekend.
