What's the plan for this weekend?

The raptors are moving back in, so the High Peaks and Balconies are out.

Brad, do you have a copy of Rock around the Clock? Mr. Kalinowski is interested in visiting the West Side. I wouldn't mind giving that route a shot as well.

Munge, Mr Mud?

I need to do Icarus, and I was thinking Mr Mud would do that with me Sunday? Looks like Saturday I'll be working with Steve assembling the book (tenatively). If we get Icarus done, I'll be down to 2 topos and all the basic field work is then done. Unbelievable!

If you mean do I have a copy of the topo with that route on it, yes, I have one that isn't yet cleaned on Photoshop.

An un-cleaned copy would be great.

I'm thinking of going down saturday. Maybe Sunday, we'll see. Either way it's going to be cold.

Better Mr Mud than me. Once the route is cleaned, I can try it.

I fly out on Sunday for WA.

Saturday I'll probably stick to CRSP since I have no idea where Icarus is and if Lane is building the wall, help with that.

Icarus is the climb left of the routes you three put up on Badman Mezzanine - the one I asked you about the bolt on. The second pitch is the bolt ladder just left of BBB.

And Clint replaced a few of the bolts on the second pitch already, which should make it less "uncertain."

What are you going to climb in Washington, Munge?

The walls (small w), of course.

Actually should be highly productive for work.

So where did the name Icarus come from? Is that the Denny route for sure then?  That's cool if so.

Did you find the errant (sp?) bolt then on that route?

Both need doing, but if we could do Icarus, it would let me finish two topos. That's a lot. Also, on Monday I may go down with the girls only and let them hang out while I  rap that route. This will let me get a rough topo together, one that I could tweak when you and I do it. So, if you'll let me choose, it's Icarus.
