Climbing recommendations central Seattle, WA
« on: March 18, 2021, 02:40:52 PM »

Hey all, my daughter Laura and her boyfriend Cory are asking about climbing gyms near central Seattle. Outdoors, they would have to climb with someone experienced.

 Does Mud gym climb?

They bought a Tepui and are going to use it for the first time this weekend, I told them that bear's call Tepui's, pinatas.

I do not have a gym membership and once the restrictions lift commuting into Seattle sucks.  I have not heard good things about the Seattle climbing gyms from people that are used to Bay Area standards.
I am open to climbing partners.  Lately I mostly climb at Vantage in areas without crowds.  So yeah, kind of obscure stuff but some of it is high quality.  I will probably go this Saturday.
A Tepui is a toupee for trucks.

Bellevue gym isn't far and BV has good food too, if they aren't stuck with Seattle.

yeah, it is ok, I have been there a couple of times.  Both BV and Redmond have good food.

Klink,

Directions are simple:
South on I-5
Take Pachaco Pass to Hollister Exit
Hollister to Hwy 25

Right turn into Pinnalces East side.

I'm not worthy.
