The weekend of 10/8-9 looks not terrible for this idea. Full moon will be directly overhead right around 12:30 Sunday morning. The hardest part will be biding your time after getting in the Westside gate before it closes. 8 pm, iirc? Maybe a hibachi dinner in the parking lot then one or two short headlamp lines along the approach? But otherwise a well-bolted 5.4 seems like a prime low-visibility climb.

Might rain so the Hibachi part could work.  Seen lots of tailgate grilling this past season and it always looks good.  I'm thinking this might be the new post West side climbing activity.

I’ll be somewhere offshore in the Pacific during that particular time. Which is why I was asking about earlier this month. Maybe I’ll be home before Christmas.
