May 25-28: Downieville training rides
« on: May 08, 2007, 09:00:10 PM »
I've May 25 and 28 off (Memorial Day weekend).  Trying to convince Mr Mud to take the days off too. Thinking about going up to Downieville to check out the cross country course. Hope the trails will be snow-free.

Anyone else interested?
Inch by inch, I will get there.

This sounds like cool idea, getting to check out the race area and surrounding towns to get acclimated. Where are you going to stay? I have a trailer (pop up) and wold like to to mabe tak it up there and save some bucks. I'm interested in going. Post details when you have them.

Well, Mr Mud and Delbomber have decided behind my back that Downieville would be too technical for me to ride on Memorial Day weekend. Now, you say that; where were you guys when I signed up for it?! Sheesh!   ::)

Sorry, Kamikaze, it ain't happening.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

Mr Mud and Delbomber is just looking out for our Team Mate.  Purisma and Skeggs has some decent single track and it is closer for you guys.

Kamikaze, are you still in for the 27th or are you hang in with Jody!   Yettime,  What's up with you and your Crew?
