In order to show a photo in a post, you need to upload it to a photo hosting service and paste a URL pointing to that image. We have been using
smugmug for photo hosting. It's nice, but our access to the photos is available only as long as we make the payment. We have installed an open source project,
Gallery2, on our hosting server, so now we can host our own photos. So far, we have migrated some albums from smugmug to
our gallery.
If you are looking for a free hosting site, we are happy to provide this service to our friends. Just let us know, and we'll create an account for you there. It's not the best photo hosting site, but at least we have full access.
