I'm on mine right now...

It's amazing that it only took one week from when I ordered it to get it. And from Shanghai even...

This thing is leaps and bounds ahead of anything else I've ever used )including the dual processor G5 PowerMac I use at work).

I'd hold my breath. Evertime Apple goes "slimmer" they have problems. Ironic, the old IMac were really laptop components inside a fancy plastic case. I wonder if they've gotten better.

I might have to get the IBook for travelling.

Yeah? But what laptop can you put a 320 GB hard drive in? Or 4GB of memory for that matter...

This system is great. Not as great as the MacPro, but also a lot cheaper.

I'll have to check with my IT buddies at work to get the poop about how well Apple's HW is doing.

Why do you need 4GB of RAM? And 320GB HD, that can hold alot of Porn!

is that a question or a statement?

one does not need 4 to run xp. don't exagerate.

one needs 4 gigs if you move a lot of data around. hell if I thought it do any good I'd put a 100 gigs of ram in there.

Very nice, F4... I'm on my PowerBook at the moment myself (sitting on the couch watching the MLS Cup Final from this morning). It still works just fine after 2 1/2 years...

Mine only has 1.25 gigs of RAM... Why do you need more?

On that note, I will be upgrading my iMac to 4GB of memory as soon as the UPS shipment arrives from OWC.  :)
