Black Friday Ride
« on: November 23, 2007, 06:19:38 PM »
I would have been happy to curl up in the couch under a blanket and read all day -- It was sunny, but quite chilly and windy outside.  But Mr Mud was so inspired by F'ueco's turkey day ride that he proposed to ride Alpine, Kings Mountain, Old La Honda, Tunitas Creek, etc. I had to wake him up from his day dream -- the reality was we slept in AND we are not F'ueco.  We left the house at noon, but the air was cold. I hated it because I had to blow my nose here and there, which is always hard for me. We ended up doing Alpine up -> Skyline to 84 down -> Kings Mountain up -> Skyline to 84 down -> OLH up -> OLH down.  It makes three nice looking loops on the map.

Inch by inch, I will get there.

Looks like fun!  :)

I only got in a flat ride on Friday. A "short" ride with a little bit of shopping thrown in (I picked up a Sharks hat and some food from Trader Joes). Then Pizza My Heart for food and Sierra Nevada. And finally to Mountain View to watch a friend's show at Red Rock Coffee Shop.
