nothing....I hate alarms. What about waking up naturally? Ever notice you don't need on on climbing trips? Unless of course you're doing an alpine high sierra start.

4am, assuming sunrise is at 5:45, as it's about 1.45 to get down to Pinns.

You are nuts. Here is why:
1) This question is totally non-Pins related.
2) You set your alarm to whenever you NEED to get up, as a normal person would do. So what kind of question is this?

The other night while turning off the light, the aforementioned nuts chuckled after he fumbled with his alarm clock.
- "What are you chuckling about?"
- "Nothing..."
- "Come on. Share it. What are you chuckling about?"
- "From now on, my alarm clock will always be set at 5:11.  ;D"
- "@$%@%@%@W#$%@#! What do you need to get up at 5:11 every morning for? And it's midnight now FGS!  >:("

It's scientifically proven that sleep deprivation leads to nutty behaviors. The downward spiral has begun.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

For me the best time to set my alarm is right before I go to sleep.  That way I can take into account how tired I am and what time I have get up.

Now, if this was not a riddle and you want to know what time my alarm goes off...  I get up around 5:40 most days.  Works well for surfing (before work) and gives me enough time to get to the crag around 9am.

Karl, you don't set your alarm clock so that it goes off at 5:13?  :o

Good idea.  However, my alarm clock setting is directly proportional to the quality of my marrage.  If I am waking Audrey that early, I should set it for 5:15.

5 11 is good for me.  Perhaps I should change it to 5 12.  However 11 is a Prime number.

The cool thing about setting it for 5:15 is that there is no chance I'll ever get up.
