Castle Session Thread

Went up tonight. Got my sweat on.

54 degrees F on the truck thermo when started down the hill

cold, but not tacky due to moisture in the air.  slipped right off right hand of starting hold of duct tape.  last week with the dry air, fired the upper part of the problem without issue.

Sounds great.....terrible with names but where is duct tape? Did you see Mr. ranger?

No ranger. Just some euros and pothead punks.


Duct is on the north side of Castle Rock Proper.  Overhanging arete, very short, but powerful.

Cool, I need to get up there.  A lot of good childhood memories.....stumbling back to the car in pitch darkness.

Did you catch the Mercury News last week? Big article on State Parks and the funding issues we all know about. Relevance is the fact that Miles was shown and interviewed.

hrm, miles interviewed. hope he was making the case for better toilets and not 'better' parking.
