I really do not think that I exaggerate all that much and I rarely sandbag.  It is simply a matter of being misunderstood.

Got the wheels and the brakes today. I hand tightened the cassette on the rear wheel and put them on the bike. She looks sooooooo preeeeeeeety!!!

The brakes I think are going to be a bit of a project. Anyone want to help this week?  ??? ;D :-*

Last night, got the hydraulic brakes and new wheels on the Blur and took her for a short little spin on the road. She's just about ready for a real ride. I need to bring the Gary Fisher over to Chain Reaction today to get the right SPD off with a pedal wrench. I need to tweak the front & rear derailleurs a little bit, too. If all goes well, I may take her out tomorrow.

Oh! And props to Mud for stopping by to help out.

Not that I did anything.  But Uber is definitely whipped.  I dropped by after a hard day at work and he did not even offer me a beer.  I do not know why he is building that bike up.  He may as well sell it and use that money to upgrade the kitchen or somethin.  :)

ha ha, it's like being in the desert with no water and suddenly coming across a oasis. He's drinking deep now and soon will swim. Taking the analogy a step further, will he drown?

How funny, we just got one too! Well, not exactly new. It is a hand-me-down from Mud's friend from work who has interest in Mud's well being. It's bigger, newer than our old one and its oven works.  :D

I think Mud was longing a beer because he hasn't gotten one at home. I'm the one who does all the shopping and I almost never go to the beer isle.  ;D
Inch by inch, I will get there.

Mudworm, that alone qualifies as spousal abuse and it's wrong. Buy the man some damn beer....he works hard and looked sad at the gym on Tuesday.

Perhaps I'll bring a cooler full of ice and beer to the gym.

Well, it looks like Mud does not lack friends who are interested in his well being.  :D

He looked sad at the gym because he bonked! Not due to lack of beer though.

My apologies for not offering a beer. Unfortunately I was fresh out AND I was a little distracted by my new ride.  ;D

HOWEVER, if you and mudworm would like to have dinner with me, I will gladly supply you with beer.

Uber, we'd love to have dinner with you. Thank you. Not for the beer. I just miss Kelly.  :D
