Wow! Out at a perfect time of the day, what a sweet boy!  You probably did not even lose any sleep last night, eh? Was it just one push as Helen had predicted?  How heavy is he? How is Jenny doing? I want more details.

Hey, do you welcome visitors yet or should we wait?

Congratulations to you and Jenny! Let us know if you need a hand for anything.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

Cutest baby I've ever seen. Man, he's sweet... so quiet and peaceful! Was told that he had not cried much at all. We were wondering if F4 and Jenny were just lucky or the baby was just still in shock. He must be tired on his journey to this world because he sure was sleeping a lot.

Jenny looked good too. I learned that they were up since midnight, but her labor was about an hour.

Mud snuck two beers into the room and had a little celebration with F4.  F4, how did the first diaper changing go? 5.10 or 5.11?  :D

The beer hit the spot.

The diper changing is easy. The hard part is dodging the wee. Papa was too quick and missed getting hit this time.

I slept off and on between feedings last night. Not too bad.

Thanks for the wishes.

Thats awesome F4. So, I take it the late night walk post gym did the trick?

Excellent news. We just got back from some days in the back country. I mentioned to VLY how cool it'd be if news of James was ready when we got back. Sure enough...

Best wishes to Jenny.

Yep, and just in time. The little sucker couldn't have gotten any bigger in there.

Now I'm doing the night shift. Remember those days Brad?

"Remember those days Brad?"

Yes, I remember those days. But they go by in  a blur. Sleep deprivation will do that. Plus it really does go by so dam fast. In a short while you'll be taking him to the first day of Kindergarten and wondering what happened.

I realized this spring that Katie will move off to college in 5 years. Five. And I can't slow it down.
