Speaking of the Pinnacles. There are new anchors at the top of a route(not sure of the name) that is about 40' left of Ubermensch. Apparently, the guys working the route while I was there yesterday thought they shouldn't be sharing the anchors with the Regular Route. I was on Camel and heard someone drilling and looked over and watched them for a while. Talked to them in the parking lot later. Real nice dudes from Santa Cruz.

Well Hot Lava is the next route over but it does not share anchors with Ubbermensch.  Could that be 40' right.  Lard Butt?  Those do not get done enough to be worthy of seperate anchors.

Maybe it was the Regular Route and Feed the Beast.  I never had a problem sharing anchors there.

That was probably Bruce H. and someone else.

I think it was Feed the Beast. They said the anchors for the Monolith Regular Route that were being used were too far back from the edge. I think they put in chains or something closer to the edge.

makes sense really to have separate anchors for Feed and Reg Route

I've had people fully unclip the FTB anchor while someone was on route after I said "sure you can clip in to that anchor" not realizing they were thinking of clipping in directly.  Tards knew someone was climbing.  Guess you gotta be real careful with the speech with morons around.

I think if were not careful, it will begin to look a bit cluttered with anchor chains hangin here and there.
