Conspiracy Theory or Liberal Nutcases?
« on: October 28, 2008, 09:35:24 AM »
On October 15th I placed two campaign signs in my front yard for two guys running for the City Council.  These guys are more on the conservative side, but pretty benign imho.  On the 16th, my birthday, I found my cat dead on my driveway.  No obvious signs of trauma, but it was odd as she was pretty young (7) and quite healthy and happy.  Since then my car has been egged as well.  Pretty pissed about that as I ended up scratching the paint job on my new vehicle trying to get the dried egg off.

Coincidence?  Probably, but I am sleeping on eggshells until after the 4th and if I catch anyone vandalizing my property or harassing my other cat, I'll ask questions after they regain consciousness.
eow!

Damn, that sucks man... I hope you catch the nutcases.

This illustrates why I never put signs or bumper stickers up (or even slightly political bumper stickers).

Considering one of the bullets hit the kid he will most likely end up with a felony conviction so he will not be voting Republican much longer.

Hopefully McCain looses and the Republican Party takes stock and get's it's act together.  Their VP could not name a single Supreme Court case and was clueless in regards to the Bush Doctrine.

Speaking of conspiracy theories...

I was watching a show yesterday on History International about the rise of Hitler in the 20s and 30s. Pretty strong parallels with the rise of Obama...  ::)

Seriously, both parties are phucked up. I'm voting Libertarian...

Did you miss the sarcastic  ::) ?

I realize that you can compare any public figure's rise to Hitler's.

But in a race between a neocon and a neo-socialist, I have to vote for the Libertarian ticket... Sorry, that's just the way it's going to be.

Can you compare them all to the rise and fall of Hardman?

not then, but I do now.  The 'roll eyes' doesn't always mean sarcasm, it could mean disdain also, but it wasn't clear which you were referring to.

Duly noted... I always forget about how the medium of the internet can distort my voice...  :)

I don't care for either candidate. But I also don't think that either will be particularly harmful to the nation. I guess we'll find out!
