My biggest cycling accomplishment this year...
« on: December 01, 2008, 10:34:16 PM »
...was sitting next to Levi Leipheimer on the plane the other day (the SFO->Frankfurt leg on my way to Bangalore). Didn't realize who he was until we were getting off the plane. He was headed to training camp.

Thanks munge. Yeah, it's pretty tense right now. The Indian government was threatening Pakistan with military action if they didn't hand over alleged terrorist ringleaders (apparently the Pakistani government is not really cooperating). This weekend marks the anniversary of the destruction of the Babri Masjid mosque in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh State in 1992. Every year at this time, Islamic militant groups threaten blowing up airports/airplanes. This means that I have to get to the airport much earlier than I would normally have to and have the pleasure of being frisked at least once if not more. Good times.
