want to take the kids to the snow and its much cheaper than mammoth.  plus there is a chance of some ice forming right off the road for a couple of easy ice leads.

and, it might be warmer than the pinns!!

Snow? Ice?  ???

My bad. I thought at June Lake, the kids can just run around in their bathing suits just like in ...June.  :P

Pinnacles. Where real men will be. Plus you don't have to walk through snow.

June would be cool, but one heck of a drive.

I don't think Munge would make it.....getting stopped at Bamas.

I'm not worthy.

Not sure yet about New Years. I'm flying back from Edmonton on the 29th. May head up to my friends' place near Bear Valley for New Years. Or may stay local...

Jeff, where are you spending Christmas and the days before New Years? June Lake is a long drive, would the western slope be closer to where you'll already be?

we have decided on idyllwild.  really the only thing i care about is that there is snow and that i have internet access.  our year end process will start on the 30th and end on about the third, so i have bits and pieces of work to do over those few days.
