Following the link.  I like the board with the whipped cream chick on it.  My Mom had that album!

Hahaha... It's not just us. A few seconds into it, Mud said something like "I don't need to [or want to?] see this" and we closed it.  I can't believe salad posted the video and he is the one who does skateboarding.
Inch by inch, I will get there.

again sorry, it didnt really affect my that way.  since there wasnt much that was really graphic (other than hard falls) i didnt even think of giving  you all a warning.

when i watched it, my thoughts were more about the commitment it takes to do all of those crazy stunts...  i think its  just a part of skateboarding at that level.

No real preface needed.  I thought the video was of you.  I have watched a bunch of those.  That one looked good.  I just cannot help but sitting there cringing waiting for the inevitable nut shot some guy takes when sliding down a rail.  Oh man those look bad.  Can't watch any more of those.  Ankles and wrists do not bother me.  butt those nut shots..... urgh

it's the head landings that do it for me. no warning needed Sal. Just not something I enjoy watching that much. no big.

total commitment, but easy injury.  Look how many times we've seen S. Ryan out of commish because of skating.

found a super sweet link up last night in the hood.  three different streets, each a really cool downhill.  will take a while before i can skate them all linked without stopping.

skated haaaaard last night.  getting the slide down better.  had my first car incident too.. was bombing the hill my house is on faster than i ever have, turned hard right at the bottom into headlights of an on coming car that was on my side of the road.  not really all that close of a call, but had to make a quick adjustment at high speed.  most certainly got some stoke out of that!

so i skated the three street link up last night with out falling or stopping.  super fun.  my quads were BURNING at the bottom.  got a new style of riding down crouched super low on the board so i can grab the rails and get better slides to control my speed.  i think that technique will come in handy for getting down some super steep hills.

it would be cool to do the link up with a little more grace and style and less work, but for now it just feels like im going way to fast to not be in the crouch and aggressively working the slides.

last week i managed to get my friend who owns gravity to come over and skate in my hood.  it turned into a full on garage days revisted as the neighborhood kids saw the company truck and came over, and called some friends, who came over and called more friends.

i skated some insane (for me) hills that i would not even think about getting on.  i crashed my way down them but it was still fun.  hit the giant 1 mile hill that i had never done before, no crashes, no stops.

we went from 6pm until 1am, with stops back at the garage for a cold one and some bouldering.  highlight had to be when we all went out together (at that point 8 or 10 of us) and full on mobbed the neighborhood hills.

bream brought over some prototypes of some sick new boards they are coming out with, bamboo and maple.  looks like ill have to get another one.
