Will that be Mr Mud behind a booth labeled "BETA"??
If so, show me the moves for 40days of rain.

Whose going? I was going to work that weekend, but might have to make an exception.

Munge, Stroms, Jake, Squiddo, Jim Mc?

You all should be easy on mr B.  He has given just about everyone a tow on a hard route or two.

We were headed down for more on the PCT starting that day. But we changed plans. It was a blast last year. Too many cool people and events not to attend. Besides, where else does the NPS embrace climbing and climbers?

We'll leave for the PCT a day later.

And what do those emoticons mean? You don't like Willie Nelson?

Actually, you've met my climbing friend Jim L, yes? I climb too with his brother Bill (usually a full week each winter, and, since he lives at TPR, summer weekdays in The Meadows). Bill looks so much like Willlie Nelson that it's scary. We call him Willie Nelson for fun. Anyway, he and I spent a week at Red Rocks. What a great climbing destination.

Yep, I love the place. Amazing routes. Now you have to do 1,000 routes? Which guide did you use? Hendren's is way better (according to Russian George).

Squiddo was just there, Sport climbing I think. Others suspect hanging out at Circus Circus eating prime rib.

Yes, Red Rocks is a better climbing destination than I ever could have imagined. Absolutely fabulous. We did a four pitch route, Triasic Sands (5.10b), that is every bit as good as Gripper in The Valley. Did part of another four pitch route, The Nightcrawler (5.10c), that is at  least as good as Oz in The Meadows (On this, in  my sixth straight day of climbing, I was so pooped I rapped before finishing it!). Endless numbers of routes, from 10 pitch 5.6s to harder routes short and long. Might go back in May.
